Having moved to Pound Lane in 1977, I very much share the concerns of many other residents regarding Sonning’s unique problems, especially in the areas of traffic and planning. Now well retired, I have been involved in differing roles with several village organisations over the years, including long-term involvement with 1st Sonning Scouts.

I joined Sonning Parish Council in 2013 and I believe that, as a team, we should strive to maintain, and improve where possible, the community that is the charming and historic Parish of Sonning. In achieving this, I feel that we should actively communicate with other village organisations and interested individuals.

By working together, we can ensure that Sonning remains a safe and pleasant environment in which to reside.
